Ewood Park - Blackburn Rovers in Lancashire

Ewood Park Football Stadium is a football stadium in Blackburn, Lancashire and the home of Blackburn Rovers football club since they moved there from Leamington Road in the summer of 1890. The stadium, which opened in 1882 as a multi sports stadium, is an all seater facility which holds 31,154 people.

It comprises out of four stands: the Darwen End stand, the Riverside Stand which is now the oldest part of the modern Ewood Park, the Ronnie Clayton Blackburn End and the Jack Walker Stand, named after Blackburn industrialist and club supporter, Jack Walker.

Ewood Park is the second oldest home to a Premier League club. Though both Anfield and Stamford Bridge were constructed earlier (1884 and 1877), their current tenants (Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC) did not start playing there until 1892 and 1905, respectively.

Blackburn Rovers football club is one of only three clubs to have been both a founder member of the Football League and the Premier League. The others being Aston Villa and Everton. Blackburn also have a long term rivalry with Greater Manchester club Bolton Wanderers football club, and also with Manchester United and Manchester City.
