# The City Cruise Terminal in the Western Docks, has completed a recent £9m, seven year deal with Royal Caribbean International to more than double its capacity. This investment will allow the cruise line to use Southampton to host its latest generation of "Freedom Class" cruise ships which are currently the largest in the world.

# The Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal at the Port of Southampton is home Cunard's fleet of ships including Queen Victoria, Queen Mary 2 & Queen Elizabeth 2. Fred. Olsen Cruise lines and Carnival UK brands, P&O Cruises and Princess Cruises also use this terminal.

# Ocean Cruise Terminal is the newest cruise terminal at the Port of Southampton. This terminal is located at Dock Gate 4 (Eastern Docks). Used by P&O cruises and Cunard Cruise Line.

Southampton is around 65 miles from London Heathrow Airport. There are direct coach services from Heathrow's central bus station to Southampton. There are no direct train services, but a RailAir coach shuttles between Heathrow's terminals and Woking Station, connecting with frequent trains out of London's Waterloo station to Southampton.

Southampton is around 90 miles from London Gatwick Airport. There are broadly hourly direct train services from Gatwick to Southampton taking two hours. There is also a cheaper but slower indirect coach option by National Express. By private hire motor transport the journey will take around 100 minutes.
