Lisbon -- Lisbon is the capital and largest city of Portugal. It's one of Europe’s most enjoyable capitals with its relaxed atmosphere, cultural diversity, and reasonable prices.

São Jorge (the hill above Alfama) is topped by a famous castle, Castelo de São Jorge, and has the most spectacular picturesque view, the neighborhood is a maze of narrow alleyways and steep stairs.

Visit the historic town of Belém along the Tagus River or Rio Tejo. This part of the city has architecture reminiscent of Gothic, Manueline and Renaissance heritage. Belém’s two most popular attractions are the grand monastery of 1501 called the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos and the Belém Tower.
